EUACI is re-orienting the programme to meet the civil protection needs of the current crisis

News

In effect of the current circumstances caused by the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the EUACI is continuing to support its partners and is currently re-orienting the EUACI programme to meet the civil protection needs of the current crisis.

Since the first day of the full-scale war, EUACI focuses on facilitating the provision of short-term help until the long-term help of emergency institutions can replace it. Most EUACI tenders have been suspended for now.

This means working directly or with partners to relieve or reduce the results of the ongoing war through the provision of food, water, shelter, and medical help, but also other material help that can support the protection of civilian lives. The EUACI aim should be to empower local partners to deliver this kind of help as soon as possible and to as many as possible.
