News

On 13 February, with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), the staff of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) completed a one-day seminar entitled “Dimensions of Integrity”, developed by the Aspen Kyiv Institute in cooperation with NACP.

After its reboot in 2020, the new NACP team stated compliance with the principle of integrity in all areas of the public sector among its main priorities. Likewise, the culture of integrity, respect for the rule of law, and zero tolerance to corruption are among the main principles of the 4-year Anti-Corruption Strategy draft developed by the NACP.

The Aspen Kyiv Institute seminar ensured that the NACP team members have a common understanding of the principle of integrity and the approaches of its application in such key areas as financial control, conflict of interest, prevention, and detection of corruption, etc. This session contributed to building the Agency’s capacity and the efficient implementation of the tasks assigned to the NACP by the Law.

The main objective of the EUACI technical support is to contribute to the sustainable institutional development of the NACP by bringing improvement of the quality of leadership and the formation of policy through dialogue on challenges facing society and NACP concerning promoting integrity in Ukrainian society.

The Aspen Institute Kyiv is a member of the Aspen Institute international network, which supports values-based leadership, promotes a culture of dialogue, and creates opportunities to exchange ideas.
