The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) continue to demonstrate consistent effectiveness in exposing and prosecuting high-level corruption. The report for the first half of 2026, presented this week, points to sustained momentum across investigations, prosecutions, and court verdicts.
During the reporting period, 107 individuals were served notices of suspicion, 106 persons were brought to trial, including four members of parliament, and 55 guilty verdicts against 76 persons came into force at the High Anti-Corruption Court.

Among the most significant cases were investigations involving former senior officials, including the former Head of the Office of the President, the former Minister of Energy, and the former Deputy Head of the Office of the President, as well as major corruption schemes in the defence sector. The report also highlights the conviction of former Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov .
