The NACP has launched the project “Ukraine Now. Vision of the Future” with the support of the EUACI

News

The goal of the project is to establish the principle of zero tolerance for corruption and the values of integrity, transparency and openness as pervasive in the reconstruction of the new Ukraine. The project aims to reflect on today’s experience and form a series of cross-cutting principles that can be the basis for the formation and implementation of public policies.

As part of the project, the National Agency for the Corruption Prevention, with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, UCU Business School, and kmbs – Kyiv-Mohyla Business School brings together contemporary Ukrainian thinkers, philosophers, and futurists to capture and reflect on these changes in a series of texts and videos.

“We must maintain zero tolerance for corruption and build a culture of integrity. We are doomed to come out of the war renewed and stronger. We are condemned to victory and the reconstruction of the new Ukraine. What should it be? On what principles to rebuild? How will the social changes happening right before our eyes affect the further development of the state? We should have answers for these questions today because they will be the basis for a recovery tomorrow, “commented the Head of the NACP, Oleksandr Novikov.

The project will be implemented in stages. In the first stage, the NACP recorded the transformation of Ukrainians and gathered insights and impressions on how society is overcoming the challenges of war, including by interviewing opinion leaders. The second phase has now begun, initiating a broad public dialogue on the lessons that society must learn from the war. By finding answers to these questions, Ukrainians will be able to move on to form their framework on the path to building Ukraine’s future. And so move on to the third stage – the formation of a new course in various sectors and areas of activity: civil service, economics, education, health care, finance, and defense.

The NACP publishes interviews with modern intellectuals on the project’s official website every week. To date, eight discussions with Valerii Pekar, Yevhen Hlibovytsky, Mykhailo Vynnytsky, Andrii Dligach, Oleh Petrenko, Anton Drobovych, Olesia Ostrovska-Liuta and Pavlo Sheremeta have been published. In addition, there is also an online broadcast with a guest speaker every Friday at 19:00 on the website. This meeting format allows the audience to participate more actively in the discussion and ask questions to the expert.

We invite you to join the broadcasts, watch the interviews and work together on the vision of the future of Ukraine. Together to the victory! #UkraineNOW #Vision of the Future #EUACIsupport
