NABU and SAPO have registered the first criminal case in the eCase MS

News

The digital tool eCase Management System has started operating in Ukraine. It is an interdepartmental system of electronic criminal proceedings for the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) and High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC). It envisages a gradual digital transition of anti-corruption investigations.

On December 16, NABU and SAPO registered the first criminal case in the eCase! The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative provided expert, technical and financial support to launch the system.

Relevant electronic systems have proven their effectiveness in more than 20 EU member states. The еCase system allows exchanging data in a fast and efficient way saving up to 200 hours per year per employee as well as costs for case printing and sending.
