On September 4, the EUACI supported a public event to mark the seventh anniversary of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
Over seven years, HACC judges delivered 431 first-instance verdicts. 435 individuals were convicted under final court decisions. UAH 1.68 billion was compensated by defendants under plea agreements.
This year marks a new era for the Court: HACC received new premises in Kyiv, and the President recently appointed 17 judges to HACC and its Appellate Chamber.
More work lies ahead! The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative will continue to support the Court, particularly in setting up the new building and onboarding the new judges.
