Ukraine has made significant progress in anti-corruption fight – IACAB expert opinion

International Anti-Corruption Advisory Board (IACAB) published its Opinion on how to ensure competent, independent and effective justice in cases related to the top-corruption in Ukraine.

Over the past three years, Ukraine has made significant progress in anti-corruption fight. But legislative framework is still imperfect. The expert group examined existing information on the work of anti- corruption bodies in Ukraine, the current legislation, the independence of existing anti-corruption agencies and provided its assessment of the situation and recommendations.

This Expert Opinion has been prepared within the framework of cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction and the European Union Anti- Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI).
