On 27 May, a roundtable on a conceptual proposal for updating the legal models governing the placement of temporary structures, fairs and exhibitions, summer trade venues, and parking areas was held in Kyiv.
The concept was developed by the EUACI grantee CSO EU-LEAP Analytical Center. Members of the Association of Ukrainian Cities joined in drafting the proposals.
The aim of the concept is to establish a unified approach to the legislative regulation of the placement and operation of temporary structures, fairs and exhibitions, summer trade venues, and parking areas, and to eliminate the fragmentation of current regulation.
Among the participants are Oleksandr Slobozhan, Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities; Olena Korniiuk, Land Resources and Municipal Property Expert at the Association’s Analytical Center; representatives of the Association’s member communities — the Myrhorod, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, and Vinnytsia city councils; representatives of the Integrity Cities of Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Nikopol, Sheptytskyi, Mykolaiv, and Poltava.
The discussion was also attended by representatives of Kyiv city authorities, municipal enterprises, Prozorro.Sale, and the business community.
During the roundtable, participants discussed the provisions of the concept, offered their proposals, and shared practical experience in the relevant areas.
