With the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), 4 staff members of the NACP’s Corruption Prevention and Detection Department have started a 4-month course of the International Compliance Association (ICA), which will last from February to May 2021. The training program will provide an opportunity to learn anti-corruption compliance from the best international coaches, deepen knowledge in the field of corruption risk management, as well as learn the leading international experience in the operation of anti-corruption infrastructure.
In addition to training and deepening knowledge, NACP employees will join the broad anti-corruption community in Ukraine, which includes representatives of various disciplines and sectors of Ukrainian governance and economics. Upon completion of the course, participants will become certified compliance professionals and affiliated members of ICA. Knowledge and skills obtained as a result of this training will contribute towards the implementation of best risk management international practices in state bodies, local governments, enterprises, institutions, and organizations managed by a state body, as well as in-state special-purpose funds, in particular through authorized units (authorized persons) whose operation is coordinated and supported by NACP.
The International Compliance Association (ICA) is the leading professional body for the global regulatory and financial crime compliance community. ICA certificates and diplomas are recognized worldwide.
The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative continues to support Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions, including the NACP, to strengthen their institutional capacity.
