Monitoring procedure for the use of subventions for school canteens’ modernization approved

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has approved Methodological recommendations for monitoring the implementation of projects for the modernization of school canteens.

The document creates a common approach for monitoring, reporting, and controlling the spending of these funds. This will increase transparency, efficiency, and integrity in the process of modernization of canteens.

The order was prepared with the support of an expert of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI).

From now on, authorities will submit monthly photo reports on the progress of works, while all information on procurement and equipment will be entered into the Unified Digital System. This will make it possible to track processes in real time and reduce corruption risks and potential misuse of funds.
