Presentation of the e-Reception Hall of the Chervonohrad City Council

News

On 17 November, the presentation of the e-Reception Hall of the Chervonohrad City Council took place. The e-Reception Hall is provided by the EUACI as part of the “Integrity Cities” project. Chervonohrad is one of the first cities to introduce an electronic reception.

How will it work? Citizens will be able to log in to their personal account on the city council website using a qualified electronic signature, BankID, or Diia Signature. As a result, this will reduce the time for processing paper documents and increase the level of accessibility of services for city residents.

“We believe these IT tools are smart solutions that create better communication between the City Administration and citizens and also assist in closing corruption gaps. We limit the human factors that have the potential for corruption,” — highlighted the Head of the EUACI.

During the discussion, Chervonohrad Mayor Andriy Zalivsky added that the city council always keeps pace with innovative approaches, so important digital tools such as GIS are already implemented in the community.

Chervonohrad’s Mayor Andriy Zalivskyi, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalisation Oleksandr Kulepin, Deputy Mayor of Chervonohrad Taras Tyrko, and Head of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine, Allan Pagh Khristensen, attended the discussion and presentation.

Currently, this e-tool is in test mode, but it will be fully operational in a few weeks.
