The EUACI supports the National Investigative Journalism Contest 2026

Through this partnership, we are not only continuing to recognise investigative journalism, but also introducing a Special Prize for the best anti-corruption regional investigation.

Regional journalists are often the first to uncover corruption schemes, work directly with people in their communities, and help hold local authorities accountable despite limited resources.

💭“Much of Ukraine’s anti-corruption progress simply would not have happened without investigative journalists. We are happy to be partners of the Award this year, and with the special prize, we would like to highlight the work of media professionals who drive change at the local level. In Kyiv, we hear less about regional media, but we know the work done by them is significant, often under real political pressure and threats,” — says Allan Pagh Kristensen, Head of EUACI.

We wish luck to all journalists participating in the contest!
