Anti-Corruption Panel at the Kyiv Security Forum

On April 23, the Head of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), Allan Pagh Kristensen, participated in the Anti-Corruption panel at the 18th annual Kyiv Security Forum “Darkness or Dawn: Is Light Ahead?”

Other panelists were Semen Kryvonos, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Dmytro Kalmekov, Deputy Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, Vira Mykhailenko, judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, and Elanas Jablonskas, Deputy Director of the Special Investigation Service of Lithuania.

During the discussion panel, Allan Pagh Kristensen emphasized the significant progress achieved since Maidan, not least by establishing the independent anti-corruption agencies that continue to demonstrate good results in the fight against corruption.

“Those of us working to build Ukraine’s anti-corruption capacity recognize that we should continue supporting anti-corruption agencies to help them become more resilient,”

Allan Pagh Kristensen said.
