Ukraine celebrates Europe Day

On 15 May, Ukraine celebrates Europe Day – an annual holiday symbolising the strategic vector of Ukrainian society’s development. Ukrainians have been celebrating Europe Day for 18 years traditionally in the format of various events, which help to learn about the culture, traditions, and values of European countries.

Since 2017, the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) ) has made every effort to support Ukraine in combating corruption. On this day, the EUACI leadership celebrates the work of all anti-corruption institutions, civil society activists, local administrations, and investigative journalists, who daily are at the forefront of the fight against corruption and uphold the values of integrity, transparency, rule of law, economic freedom and democracy.
