How does information influence the level of corruption?
The answers to this question have been discussed during the public talk “Fighting Corruption in Ukraine: Changing Attitudes, Gamification, Cooperation”, organized by the EUACI grantee CSO Vox Ukraine.
On 27 March, the Vox Ukraine team presented the results of research on Ukrainians’ perception of corruption and summed up the results of the annual “Youth Integrity Marathon” in Kyiv.

Representatives of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, the Integrity Office of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, experts and advisors on integrity in local government bodies, representatives of the educational environment, civil society sector, and government bodies joined the discussion.
The EUACI Team Lead, Taras Sluchyk, expressed confidence in the importance of the cooperation with young Ukrainians for increasing the level of integrity and transparency of the country and added:
“Working with teenagers and students is very crucial and responsible, because in 20-30 years this generation will be running our country. The so-called “preventive measures” against corruption should be instilled at the stage of formation of young people as obligatory behaviour. In order to make integrity and accountability the general standard for them, not the exception”.

The annual Youth Integrity Marathon for high school students was held in three EUACI partner cities. A total of 250 participants took part in the events. Read more about the results.
