The EUACI participated in the EPAC/EACN conference “Protecting Public Integrity and EU Financial Interests: Practical Cooperation Against Corruption, Fraud and Misconduct”

Oleksandr Sydielnikov, Team Lead of the Сomponent Supporting Anti-Corruption Institutions represented the EUACI at the Conference held in Budva, Montenegro on 5–7 October. Representatives of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) also participated.

Participants discussed practical approaches to preventing, detecting and investigating corruption, strengthening the institutional resilience of anti-corruption bodies, and using data and digital tools to investigate corruption offences. These issues are particularly relevant to Ukraine’s successful EU integration and effective reconstruction.

At the conference, the NACP presented the Strategy for Promoting Integrity in Education 2026–2030, developed jointly with the EUACI, and shared best practices for integrating integrity education into the work of educational institutions.

The EUACI continues to support exchanges of experience between Ukrainian anti-corruption institutions and European partners to turn cooperation into practical results in preventing and combating corruption.
