Safe environment, development, and equal rights – a children’s center was opened at NABU

News

On 12 January, NABU opened a center for the children of its employees on its premises with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative and UNICEF.

From now on, NABU employees can leave their children, aged from 3 to 15 years, in a comfortable place when needed. The NABU center for children has areas for games, online learning, and recreation.

‘The EUACI is proud to support the good initiative of NABU management in creating better family conditions for the staff.  Even in wartime, kids have the possibility to stay kids and receive good care at this nice facility. We really hope that children will be able to have a great time here in a safe environment while their mums and dads are working hard for NABU’, said the Head of the EUACI, Allan Pagh Kristensen, during the opening ceremony.

This is the first room of its kind opened at premises of anti-corruption agencies in Ukraine. This initiative is important for creating favorable working conditions for employees and ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men. This is a step towards building better work environment where family and career can exist in harmony.
