Copenhagen to host the next Ukraine Reform Conference

News

On 27June 2018 Denmark together with Ukraine will hold an international conference on reforms in Ukraine: “A Driver for Change”.

Prime Ministers of Denmark and Ukraine will preside over the event, which will host international partners, representatives of international organizations, business and civil society. Ukrainian and Danish sides agreed on it during Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen’s visit to Ukraine on 21 February. At the same time, the Danish Foreign Minister and his Ukrainian counterpart signed an invitation to the Ukraine Reform Conference in Copenhagen.

The conference was inspired by the success of the first Ukraine Reform Conference held in London last year. In London Anders Samuelsen announced that Denmark would host the conference in 2018.

“For the international community, the conference will provide an opportunity to confirm commitment to supporting Ukraine, and the main achievement of the event will be if it helps achieve significant progress in reforms, both before and after June 27,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Anders Samuelsen.
