EUACI was pleased to host the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Mr. Valdis Dombrovskis and Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions

Representatives of the anti-corruption institutions presented the results of their activities and stressed the challenges they are facing. They emphasized the importance of independent anti-corruption bodies and stressed the need for transparent and merit-based selection of their leaders. Gratitude was expressed as to the support of the EUACI. 

Mr. Valdis Dombrovskis assured that the fight against corruption in Ukraine remains on top of the EU agenda and that European partners continue to provide unyielding support to Ukraine on the path to a prosperous European future.

The Head of the EUACI Mr. Allan Pagh Kristensen stated “The anti-corruption institutions are making progress and achieving results but their challenges are immense. The EUACI will continue to support the institutions, build capacity and promote their interests based on best international practice”.
