EUACI in Chernivtsi – supporting the anti-corruption agenda

The EUACI team went to the integrity city of Chernivtsi this week to show support to the anti-corruption work. Since 2017, the EUACI has cooperated with Chervnitsi, providing a number of tools to enhance the integrity and transparency of the city. The EUACI met with the deputy mayor Vasyl Zozulya, members of the City Council and civil society organisations. Cooperation was launched with the NGO Youth Centre that will conduct an anti-corruption project during the coming weeks.

The Head of the EUACI stated: “Great to visit Chervnitsi and meet with dedicated citizens and officials that are keen on fighting corruption. Under mayor Roman Klichuk the city has shown good progress in this field but still many challenges to be addressed. The EUACI will continue to provide help and assistance to the city’s anti-corruption work. I am impressed by the strong civil society that is eager to develop and improve their city
