1,600 teenagers learned to tackle corruption through gameplay and real-life dilemmas

In late 2025, the NGO Zmіnotvorsti (Changemakers) won a grant from the EUACI to implement their project under the national call for promoting integrity in education. They are now actively working on it and sharing results.

The project “Zmіnotvorsti: Integrity and Action” works with teenagers from small communities through games, trainings, and role-play of ethical dilemmas. In a simulation game developed by the NGO, participants take on the roles of community members, negotiate, distribute resources, and make decisions together.

There are no right answers. The game shows how trust is built through actions, and how a single choice can affect the entire community. After the intensive, participants are equipped to run similar sessions themselves at their own schools.

Over the past few months, the team visited Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, reaching 12 schools in total.

Last weekend, Zmіnotvorsti joined the festival “Children’s Space: European Values for Every Child” organised by the EU Delegation together with UNICEF in Kyiv, where they presented their activities for teenagers. The event was held to mark the International Day for the Protection of Children’s Rights.

Integrity is not taught — it is built through experience. We are grateful to our colleagues for building it. The EUACI continues to support leadership and integrity in education.
