The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) is the leading technical support program in the area of anti-corruption in Ukraine, funded by the European Union, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, UK International Development, co-funded by the and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The overall objective of the EUACI is to achieve significant progress in preventing and countering corruption, ensuring the coherence and systemic anti-corruption activities of state and local self-government bodies, and empowering civil society and citizens to contribute to combating corruption, as well as the proper process of Ukraine’s post-war recovery. The program runs until August 2027.
HACC is currently undergoing an important stage of institutional development, including the appointment of new judges, expansion of court staff, and preparation for the utilisation of its new premises in Kyiv.
These developments require the establishment of appropriate technical infrastructure to ensure the effective functioning of the new courtrooms and uninterrupted administration of justice.
In particular, there is a need to equip the new courtrooms with modern audio and video recording systems, court hearing documentation and transcription solutions, videoconferencing equipment, and supporting IT infrastructure. HACC requested the EUACI to support for the supply and deployment of necessary equipment and services.
The implementation of this project will contribute to strengthening HACC’s institutional and operational capacity, improving the efficiency and accessibility of court proceedings, and ensuring the continuity of judicial processes.
The support will cover the supply, installation, configuration, integration, and testing of the required equipment to ensure that the new courtrooms are fully operational and meet the technical and procedural requirements for conducting court hearings.
