Our grantees, the Ukrainian School of Political Studies, have brought together integrity leaders to examine the issue of corruption from different perspectives and to create a network between those who fight against it every day.
The “Integrity Leaders” program engaged officials from anti-corruption institutions and other state bodies, judges, representatives of civil society organizations, activists, and investigative journalists.
“Fighting corruption in Ukraine is not only about going after high-level corrupt officials. There is a need to broaden the anti-corruption agenda and focus more on preventive work at the sectoral level. We need to go beyond the anti-corruption bubble, engage new stakeholders, and broaden our scope. And this Leadership Integrity Program is contributing to this” said Allan Pagh Kristensen, Head of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, during the program’s opening.
Over three days of lectures, seminars, and panel discussions, participants reflected on the concept of justice, explored OSINT and cybersecurity tools, discussed criminal justice and judicial reform, public procurement monitoring, and the role of the media in exposing corruption.
The key achievement of this program is not only to achieve knowledge and skills but also to create a strong network of integrity leaders. Every day, these people are bringing Ukraine closer to a future where transparency, justice, and accountability are the norm.
The “Integrity Leaders” program is implemented with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative.
