Ukraine has made some progress in fighting corruption but there are still steps to be taken — the EU Enlargement Report on Ukraine

The report published by the European Commission on 30 October, states that the Commission’s recommendations from last year were mostly implemented. 

Ukraine has made some progress, notably by strengthening its anti-corruption institutional framework and the gradual building of a track record in investigating, prosecuting and adjudicating high-level corruption cases.

The track record on the fight against corruption has further improved. Anti-corruption institutions continued their efforts in building a credible track-record of investigating and adjudicating high-level corruption cases and the overall number of indictments and judgments during the reporting period has reached an all-time high since the key anti-corruption institutions were established.
