Chernivtsi became the first out of four cities where similar training sessions for educators will be conducted. The launch of the project in this city is very symbolic, as Chernivtsi became the first “Integrity City” in 2017, a partner of EUACI in implementing practices of integrity in the activities of the municipal council.
Deputy Mayor Yurii Lesyuk, in his address to the participants, emphasized the importance of implementing integrity practices in the educational process.
The program included an interactive workshop, group work, discussions, and anti-corruption debates. The participants discussed the ways how to make schools a trustworthy and integrity environment and shared ideas on how to improve the educational process, including finance, document management, interaction with the teaching community, and parent engagement.
During the training, 35 principals acknowledged with the guideline “Educational Navigator” – a collection of methodological recommendations for the development of the education sector, created with the support of the EUACI.
