The Mykolaiv City Council has announced the launch of an open competition for three positions as independent members of the Supervisory Board of KP Mykolaivelectrotrans.
With the EUACI support, the city continues to implement corporate governance reform in line with OECD principles, one stage of which is the establishment of supervisory boards at three critical infrastructure enterprises (a supervisory board is currently operating at ME Mykolaivvodokanal). The Supervisory Board will facilitate transparent and accountable management of the enterprise, improve urban electric transport services, and promote the effective use of resources.
The transformation of municipal enterprises is one of the key areas of cooperation between the city and the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI). With EUACI support, experts from the Ukrainian Institute of Corporate Governance have been engaged to provide organizational and methodological support for the open competition for Supervisory Board members.
Deadline for candidate applications: April 20, 2026

EUACI will continue to support Mykolaiv in transforming its municipal sector into a model for other Ukrainian cities. Next steps include the establishment of a supervisory board at Mykolaivoblteploenerho, and the development of an internal audit function among other initiatives.
