The Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) is organising its fifth Business Integrity Month — a series of events that bring together business, government, and civil society around the values of integrity and responsibility.
Crisis is not only a challenge — it is also an opportunity for growth. This year’s theme is “Integrity Growth: Crisis as a Driver for Development”. The initiative is supported by the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI).
“If there is one thing, we have learned in working with integrity and anti-corruption in Ukraine – it is the need to have a holistic and inclusive approach. You cannot only work with anti-corruption institutions, or with local authorities, or with businesses, or with civil society. You need to work with all of them – to connect them, in a whole-of-society approach. That’s how you get the most impact, achieve most success in preventing corruption. But it is also the most difficult approach. Today’s event is a good example of how the whole-of-society approach can be pursued”
commented Allan Pagh Kristensen, Head of EUACI.
