On 1-2 August 2025, the flagship training course “Integrity-Based Leadership for Change: Responsible Decision-Making for Ukraine’s Recovery” was launched. The course is being conducted by PwC Academy in Ukraine with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) and in partnership with the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine (SARDI).
Participants include representatives of the SARDI and the EUACI Integrity Cities — Mykolaiv and Poltava.
The goal is to strengthen the leadership and management skills of the heads of Regional Offices for Restoration, enhance strategic planning practices, and build a deep understanding of the importance of ethical and transparent decision-making in the reconstruction process.
“The Agency for Restoration and its regional offices are not only key institutions in restoring Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, but also organizations that should serve as a model of effective and integrity governance in the public sector. Our task is to help develop strong leadership, project management, and a culture of accountability,” highlighted Taras Sluchyk, Team Lead of the Integrity Reconstruction Component at the EUACI.
“Today, we work as a team — without hierarchies or positions. We share one common goal: Ukraine’s recovery. This training helps us achieve this goal more effectively and systematically,” emphasized Yurii Sverba, SARDI Deputy Head.
Over the coming months, participants will explore:
- modern approaches to leadership and strategic management;
- methods for evaluating results and setting KPIs;
- principles of effective project management;
- internal control;
- change management;
- internal and external communication;
- integrity and ethical decision-making in the reconstruction process.
The training course consists of six modules and will be implemented over the next three months.
