Transparent procedures and effective management at all levels are key to Ukraine’s successful recovery. The Agency, together with the EUACI team, launched a comprehensive assessment of the Regional Offices for Restoration (RORs).
On 21 May, a kick-off meeting with the participation of the Agency Head Serhii Sukhomlyn and the Head of the EUACI Allan Pagh Kristensen was held. The event marked the launch of a comprehensive project to assess and transform the cooperation between the RORs and the Agency. The leading consulting company EY Ukraine is engaged in the process.

The aim of the project is to update the work of the RORs to be more efficient, more accountable and more transparent. It is expected that the updated model of the RORs will meet the current challenges of recovery and the requirements of international partners.
Over the next six months, a team of experts will:
- analyse the performance of individual services;
- study the processes of interaction between services, with the Agency and other institutions;
- establish an updated ROR’s structure.
It is expected the Agency will receive a clear plan to modernise the Regional Offices. This development is an important step towards creating a strong institutional framework for Ukraine’s recovery.
