Support the Women’s leadership at NABU!

The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) has launched a coaching leadership program to empower women at NABU.

The program is designed to equip participants with the tools to navigate complex political and financial environments, engage in strategic decision-making, and lead institutional reforms effectively. The program includes group coaching, individual mentoring, and strategic leadership training using the Agile Brain methodology.

On March 21, 44 female staff members of NABU took part in a group coaching session aimed at strengthening their leadership skills. The training is the first activity of the coaching program.

NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová welcomed the participants.

“With EU support, NABU is taking real steps to promote women’s leadership—not just by appointing women to leadership positions (2 out of 3 NABU deputies are women) but also by investing in their professional growth. This is not just a box-ticking exercise; it’s a systematic approach that improves recruitment, training, and career development opportunities,” Mathernová emphasized.

Ambassador Mathernová highlighted the importance of women’s leadership in today’s world and shared her personal experience of building a career despite gender stereotypes.

The EUACI will continue to support women building careers in the anti-corruption sphere of Ukraine!
