Leadership and Integrity in Ukraine’s Reconstruction

On 31 October and 1 November 2025, the final session of the training programme “Integrity Leadership for Change: Responsible Decisions for Ukraine’s Recovery” were held for representatives of the State Agency for Restoration and Development Infrastructure of Ukraine (SARDI) and its Regional Restoration Services.

The programme was implemented by PwC Academy in Ukraine with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) in partnership with SARDI.

The training sessions started in August 2025, and over the course of three months, participants completed six training modules. The programme covered topics such as leadership and strategic management, performance evaluation,  project management in construction, internal control, change management, and communications.

“We could see there was a need for a course like this. Not in anti-corruption in a narrow sense of the word but broader, looking into management, communication, integrity and so on. We also experienced that participants highly valued being together with likeminded colleagues from other regional branches. We appreciate that so many of you found time to participate, despite your very important work in the regions, and hope that your newly acquired skills will be useful in your daily work” said Allan Pagh Kristensen, Head of the EUACI, at the end of the training program.

The programme provided an opportunity to improve management skills, and served as a platform for the exchange of experience between regions working towards a common goal – the reconstruction of Ukraine based on transparency, efficiency and integrity.
