Roundtable Kyiv-Brussels “Fighting Corruption: Ukraine’s Path to the EU”

A lively discussion unfolded when the EUACI and the Brussels-based think tank CEPS organized an expert discussion about Ukraine’s fight against corruption during the upcoming process of preparing for EU accession.

Twenty experts, including from the Ukrainian parliament and government, CSOs, the NACP, NABU, SAPO and HACC,  were virtually connected with counterparts from the EU to exchange thoughts and views and get a better idea of what it will take for Ukraine to prepare for EU accession in the field of anti-corruption.

The event was split into two panels: the first dedicated to Ukraine’s path to EU membership and what is expected in the field of fighting corruption, and the second to EU Practices in prevention, detection, and combating corruption.
