EUACI engages Community Relations Consultants to strengthen cooperation with 5 Integrity Cities

The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) begins cooperation with Community Relations Consultants to enhance public participation in and awareness of initiatives aimed at increasing the transparency and integrity of five city-partners of EUACI – the Integrity Cities: Chernivtsi, Chervonohrad, Mariupol, Nikopol, and Zhytomyr. Community Consultants were selected through an open competition held by EUACI in December 2020.

The consultants’ role will be engaging local communities and maintaining an on-going dialogue on integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption issues through cooperation with civil society, the media, and business associations.

EUACI is pleased to introduce Community Relations Consultants who will present the program’s efforts and results on the ground.

Chernivtsi:
Mykola Lyakhovych, project manager, an expert on cross-border projects and sustainable transport.

Chervonohrad:
Taras Tyrko, entrepreneur, data analysis specialist.

Mariupol:
Halyna Balabanova, educational project manager, fundraiser, project management coach, has 15 years of journalism experience.

Nikopol:
Iuliia Yefremova, English translator, freelancer, foreign economic activity manager.

Zhytomyr:
Dmitriy Lavrinenko, project manager in the field of anti-corruption, an expert in working with youth.

The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative is enhancing the capacity of local self-government, civil society, media and business to contribute to the fight against corruption.
